Bret Brodersen
Bret Brodersen was born and raised in the Tekamah/Herman, Nebraska area.  He started farming and raising hogs at the age of 13 with his Grandpa.  He graduated from Tekamah/Herman high school in 1978 and in 1980 married his wife Sarah.  In 1982, Mr. Brodersen started farming on his own and in 1986 he purchased the Brodersen family farm, which has been in the Brodersen name for 138 years.  He grew the farm from 240 acres to 3,000 acres and is now farming with his sons, Nick and Josh, who are sixth generation farmers.  Mr. Brodersen is also very community driven.  He is the Vice President of the Tekamah/Herman School Board and has been a member of the board for ten years.  In addition, he is the Vice President of the Burt/Washington County Drainage Board and has been involved with this group for approximately six years.  For 15 years, Mr. Brodersen coached baseball from Little League up to Legion. 
Dennis Connealy
Dennis Connealy is a sixth generation farmer and began farming in 1970.  He now farms 2,600 acres of corn and soybeans in Burt County, Nebraska. In addition to farming, Mr. Connealy has owned Connealy Insurance for over 20 years with his wife in Tekamah, Nebraska.  He is a member of the Nebraska Cattlemen’s Association, American Corn Growers Association, Cuming and Burt County Cattlemen’s Associations, Nebraska Soybean Association, and he serves on the Burt-Washington Drainage Board.  Mr. Connealy is married with four children. 
Michael McKenzie
Michael McKenzie owns and operates I-M Swinebreeders INC., a farming operation that raises corn and soybeans along with feeding livestock.  Mr. McKenzie also owns Northeast Soya Extruding, a soybean processing operation.  This business started 18 years ago as an extruding plant but in the past nine years has developed into an extruding, expelling, and extraction plant of soy-oil.  Mr. McKenzie has several years of hands on experience in plant operation, and the wholesale and retail sale of both soybean meal and soy-oil.  In addition, he is the past state director of the Nebraska Soybean Association. 
Tim Gregerson
With a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agronomy from the University of Nebraska (Lincoln), Tim Gregerson has been involved with farming for over 18 years.  He has an established farming operation consisting of raising such crops as corn, soybeans, and alfalfa.  In addition, he also finishes feeder cattle and hogs.  Mr. Gregerson is a member and past president of the Tekamah Lions Club and the Burt County Extension Board.  He is also a member of the Burt County Cattleman’s Association (Nebraska and National Cattleman’s Association member), Nebraska Soybean Association (national member as well), Nebraska Corn Growers Association (national member also) and he is the Baseball Commissioner for Little League under the Tekamah – Herman Ball Association.  Mr. Gregerson is a member of the Tekamah Emmanuel Lutheran Church and is a past congregation council vice-president and has been a stewardship chairman for eight years.  He is married with two children.

Dennis Baumert
Graduating from Dodge High School in 1955, Dennis Baumert entered the service in October of 1956.  He served his country primarily from Germany and received an honorable discharge two years later.  He started working at the Snyder, Nebraska Co-op and became manager in 1965.  On May 1, 1970, he along with four other local farmers purchased Scribner Grain.  At the present, Mr. Baumert is the sole owner of the company acting as owner operator.  Scribner Grain handles feed, grain, fertilizer and chemicals with an employment of 18-19 people.  In addition to Scribner Grain, Mr. Baumert’s business endeavors include a large farming operation, trucking business, cattle and hog feeding business, cow/calf operation, a feed mill in O’Neill, NE and a convenience store in Osmond, NE.  He is the President of his family operation along with his son and son-in-law.  He has been active in civic duty and served as the Mayor of Scribner from 1984 to the present.  In addition, he is a member of the Scribner Chamber of Commerce and the Dodge County Cattle Feeders Association.  Mr. Baumert and his wife Jeanee, who also works in the family business, have been married for 45 years.  They are the parents of five grown children.

Keith Charling
Keith Charling has been involved with farming and cattle feeding for 30 years.  He is a member and past President of the Burt County Feeders Association and he is a board member of Oakland Fire & Rescue.  Mr. Charling is also a member and of the First United Methodist Church in Oakland, NE and he sits on the congregational council.  He is married with five children.

Rodney Bromm
Rodney Bromm has been farming and feeding cattle for almost 30 years in the Tekamah, NE region.  He is a Board member of Burt County Farm Bureau, a Director and past President of the Burt County Cattleman’s Association, and a member of the Nebraska Cattleman’s Association.  In addition, he is the President of the Burt County Planning Commission, of which he has been a member for eight years.  Mr. Bromm is married with three children.  The family resides near the town of Tekamah, NE.
